MY DEAREST DESI

My dearest Des,

I wanted to tell you how much granny misses you.
I am in a faraway place called New Zealand where Auntie Emily and Uncle Leon live. 
 I had to get on a big plane and travel all night long to get here. Here is a picture of the plane I took - it's super big - I went "to infinity and beyond"  Desi!(I think I even saw Buzz up there!)
Please ask Mummy to show you where New Zealand is okay?
It is really hard to be so far away from you but I think about you every day and I want to send you and Tay Tay a big big hug and kiss.
I won't be gone very long - just a few weeks.  As soon as I get home we can get together and play play play! 
I am sending all these pictures to show you what I am doing every day while I am gone.
I hope that  you are having lots of fun at school.  Maybe you can draw me a picture of New Zealand after you look at the pictures I am sending.
